🔮 The mindset I’m using to chase luck—not wait for it

Hi friends,
Have you ever looked at someone else's life and thought, Wow, they're just lucky?
Maybe they have the dream career, the happy relationship, the success you've been working toward. And maybe a part of you (even if you don’t say it out loud) whispers: It must be nice. They just got lucky.
I get it. I've been there.
But recently, I heard a new interpretation of luck that completely changed the way I think about success—and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.
LUCK ISN’T RANDOM. IT’S ATTRACTED TO CONSISTENCY.
Here’s the idea: yes, luck exists. But it’s not something that just falls from the sky. It’s not handed out to a chosen few while the rest of us grind in the dark.
Instead, luck is something we run toward.
Every time you work on your craft, every time you show up consistently, every time you keep going when it feels like no one is watching—you increase your surface area for luck. You maximize your chances of being in the right place at the right time with the right skills to actually seize the opportunity.
And that’s what people miss.
When someone says, She just got lucky, they’re skipping the part where she spent months, maybe years, quietly working on her vision. They don’t see the hours of research, the trial and error, the tears, the lessons, the emails sent with no replies, the videos that flopped before one finally took off.
Like my YouTube videos. When one of them gets thousands of views, I still hear, She just got lucky.
But I know the full picture:
→ I spent hours scripting, editing, testing thumbnails.
→ I invested in courses (one of my favorites recently is Jillz Guerin’s YouTube masterclass—worth every penny).
→ I kept showing up when the algorithm didn’t reward me.
And yes—maybe some luck was involved. But I earned that luck by being ready for it.
POWERFUL MINDSET SHIFT
So here’s what I want you to remember:
Success isn’t about doing nothing and hoping to become the luckiest person in the room. It’s about doing the work so that when luck knocks on your door—you’re ready to open it.
Let this be your sign to keep going. Keep chasing what matters to you.
Because every step you take brings you closer to the day when someone looks at you and says, She just got lucky.
And you’ll smile, knowing the truth.
Talk soon,
Veronika 🤍
